pay yourself first - EigenZeit and EigenSinn

Now the dilemma begins again. These days, we will be reminded of this by our environment and also by our inner voice:
"Plan the next year well; have good resolutions!"
Yet year after year, we have found that much of what we "wished for" has not materialized. Gyms thrive on the fact that many good intentions are signed, but the bodies don't arrive at the gym. It's kind of weird that there are so many business models today that are based on not fulfilling the promises made. Because what if everyone really did go to the gym? Overbooked! In the case of flights, what if all passengers actually wanted to fly on the date ordered? Overbooked! Everyone parked properly and only crossed the road when the light was green? The budget of the city and the country would be even more overindebted because the bus fare revenue is planned for the budget!
What is the reason for this dilemma?
Well, failure can have many parents.
In an increasingly complex and fast-paced world, there are always several points that could be singled out.
However, there are so-called key points, or as I like to call them:
Key points.
One of the most important sticking points is the ability to pay ourselves first. I could also be referring to the "debt crisis", because we only ever talk about who we pay from others. In the area of money, the idea of paying yourself is already more widespread. In my Millionaire Spirit seminars, however, the air always boiled most strongly around the topic: can you pay yourself before you pay others?
Today I am not talking about money. It's about the ability to really take care of yourself first. Have you ever noticed that there is always a notice on the plane before take-off: "In the unlikely event of a sudden loss of pressure, oxygen masks will fall from the ceiling. Please always put yourself on first, then help!"
It's really worth considering why a creature like us, which has its own survival instinct, has to be repeatedly told to look after itself first!
For mothers, it can be the hormones that ensure that the statement has to be repeated again and again.
In my seminars, however, it's not the hormones that make it so difficult to pay yourself first. To keep at least 10% of the money for yourself! For always!
Why don't the so-called good intentions work? Because they are usually thoughts like: I should, you should, "externally controlled" issues, often associated with feelings of guilt. But it's logical that deadlines set and contracts signed in this way don't last very long. Most of us have been trained: "What do you want others to think of you?"
And so it is that we first have to really learn to pay attention to the most important things again and dare to tackle and implement what is good for us.
Always remember that:
"The main thing is that the main thing remains the main thing!
So check yourselves now, what are your plans for 2012? How do you start? What do you write in the calendar first? What kind of dates?
If you really "pay yourself first", then all your private goals are first on the calendar.
Do you plan your job/business around your life or do you plan your life around your job?
Paying yourself means planning every day, every week, every month, every year so that your "net own time", as the multiple Olympic champion Felix Gottwald calls it, is the most important date in your calendar!
What goals are really important for you in 2012?
Are they self-determined or externally determined?
If they are clearly self-determined, then they belong in the calendar first. They are you, they are your life. If you put them at the back, they often fall behind...
A good life consists of a lot of "net self-life". The clearer we are in this respect, the more fulfilled and prosperous we can be, because we then make resolutions that benefit our real life.
This has nothing to do with self-centeredness (negative egoism), but with personal responsibility. From a position of responsibility, you can support others much better. Once you have put on the oxygen mask, you can help others on a permanent basis.
If you lose yourself, you have lost your life.
If you pay yourself first in this sense, you are living your life.
The fewer resolutions you give up, the more your self-esteem increases,
self-(self-)consciousness.
Now is the time for planning 2012 again!
How much of your own time have you already planned?
Who, what do you write first, as the most important thing in your calendar?
I wish you lots of "EigenZeit" and "EigenSinn" in 2012!

Live your Purpose and the world will be a healthier,
happier and more prosperous place!
Sincerely
winning for life
