When I was studying law, or as we abbreviate it, law in the 70s of the last century,
this sounds like a long time ago,
there was a discussion among the students as to whether you could even find a job
. Every major city already had thousands of lawyers and
80% were living on the minimum wage or less.
I didn't bother with this, but rather opened my practice in a good city location with an experienced legal secretary
and the first salaried lawyer immediately after
was licensed. How is this possible? At that time, there were
lawyers who had nothing to do and therefore nothing to eat, and
at the same time lawyers who earned DM 1,000 per hour and more.
Nowadays, everyone wants to be a coach. In Germany, people are already talking about it:
Coach = unemployed person with a business card. According to a study by a coaching
organization, very few people can make a living from this profession. The majority
do not make more than 50,000 per year.
Less than 5% reach 200,000 per year.
What makes the difference? Does the market not offer more?
The market offers more! Similar to lawyers, the top people,
do not know how to cope with the work, even high fees
do not reduce the rush. Many clients know that good advice is expensive.
For coaches, lawyers, all professions, the
20:80 rule of Pareto always applies in life. 20% earn 80% of the fees.
You can divide the 20%ers into 4:16.
The top 4%ers always have a lot to do and earn a lot.
This also corresponds to the study by the coaching organization.
Since the age of 15 I have been observing, analyzing and acting
according to the 4%ers.
Almost all training courses on the market are geared towards selling something to the 80% of
people. That's also true if you want to sell a product to as many
people as possible. But if you want toimpart the knowledge, know-how and above all
the do-how of the 4%ers, you need customers who are really
prepared to go to another level and don't want to buy off the peg
, who want their own "tailor-made suit". But who are also prepared to invest
time, effort and a corresponding fee. For example, many years ago I paid
$7,000 for a day with Dr. Demartini
. Was it worth $7,000? Yes, because I made more out of the know-how
. I have just transferred another 7,500 to Alan Weiss for the joint development of a text. Alan Weiss is a consultant who
always earns annual fees of 1-2 million
and is the author of Million Dollar Consulting and
Million Dollar Speaking.
Is it worth it? Of course, because that's the only way I can stay at the level of
Million Dollar Consulting.
We are launching our

the secret of success. There is no secret. Everything
is always out in the open. Similarly in the gym:
"What's the secret of your muscles?"
No secret at all. Anyone could copy it.
But even then I recommend a TOP personal trainer. You'll reach your goal faster.
Even the No. 1 in tennis still uses a coach. More and more
people understand this, i.e. the market is getting bigger and the incomes of TOP coaches are getting higher.
Nevertheless, for many people it will still mean being unemployed with a business card.
There are many tennis coaches who are just getting by.
What makes the difference? Pay attention, because it's no secret.
